For this month’s Living the Lesson, we will continue to focus on the three pillars of Lent: prayer, fasting and almsgiving. What will you do as a family this Lent to focus on one or all of these? Will you spend time praying the rosary or Divine Mercy Chaplet together? Will you attend Mass each weekend during Lent? Will you go to Confession? What can you fast from? Time on your phone or computer? Video games? Gossip? What can you give to others? Your time? Your homemade meals? Clothes? Your possibilities are endless! Take time this Lent to focus on getting closer to Christ by really living the three pillars of Lent!

This Living the Lesson must take a minimum of two hours and a description of what your family did, with pictures of you doing it, must be sent to Cathy Mackey at cmackey@syrdio.org by April 5, at the latest! Mrs. Mackey can’t wait to see what you do! She learns from you!
