Dear Faith Formation Families,

 

With the passing of Pope Francis, we reflect with deep gratitude on a Holy Father who led with mercy and humility.

 

The Catholic Church has now entered a solemn and sacred time, and as we journey through this time-honored process of mourning and transition, we, as members of the faithful, are called to support the Church through our prayers and a deeper engagement with this sacred moment.

 

As a Church, we join with the angels and saints to pray for Pope Francis with hope for his eternal rest with the Lord.

 

I’ve started a folder with some resources for kids to help them learn a little more about Pope Francis, as well as what the next steps are to elect a new pope. Feel free to use any of the resources with your kids, as well as for yourself.  You can find them using the links below.
